Butterbeer lovers, there’s a new reason to swing by Universal CityWalk. The expanded Universal Studios Store now includes a dedicated Wizarding World section, and for the first time ever, you can grab a Butterbeer without setting foot inside the theme parks.

The Butterbeer counter is tucked inside the reimagined store, serving the same cold and frozen versions you’d find in Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley for $8.99 each. Just head inside the Universal Studios Store. Depending on where you enter you'll either be in a large room with mostly Harry Potter merchandise, or the brightly colored Super Nintendo World room. Either way, the Butterbeer room is in the back of the store, tucked within an arched doorway.
The Butterbeer bar at CityWalk is modern-looking with some romantic Butterbeer touches, and the classic Butterbeer menu on mirrored glass. There’s also a small display of sweet treats and plenty of themed merchandise nearby, along with a fun wand room to explore while you sip.
On a personal note, one of my very first dates with my now-husband was an impromptu meetup at Islands of Adventure for a hot Butterbeer when the temperatures dropped one evening. Returning to Universal on the opening day of this CityWalk Butterbeer counter brought back all those memories. No park ticket, no pressure, just a cozy little moment, Butterbeer in hand.
It’s a simple way to add a little magic to your next date night. Stop in before dinner at CityWalk or make it the destination itself.
