Summer Markets hosted by 2 Girls and a Market

Whether you’re visiting Orlando for the first time or you’re a local looking for a nice weekend outing or date night, these markets offer a fun way to support small businesses and discover some one-of-a-kind finds.

Collective Corner Florida

Veronica Irizarry and Taylor Bianco created Collective Corner Florida, aiming to bring people together and foster a sense of community following COVID-19. They’ve come a long way, from hosting a small group of vendors on a lawn to organizing themed markets that attract crowds and fill venues.

Shoppers can browse a mix of local creators, artists, vintage finds, boutique brands, specialty foods, home decor offerings, wellness products, and plenty of other unique vendors.

These markets do more than provide a great experience for visitors; they also play an important role in supporting local businesses. Every purchase helps vendors grow their customer base, expand their reach, and potentially take the next step toward opening a storefront or building a larger online presence.

“One of the most rewarding parts of hosting these markets is knowing we’ve helped create opportunities and connections that contribute to a business’s growth,” said Irizarry, co-founder of Collective Corner Florida.

In addition to traditional markets, Collective Corner brings together local vendors and creates community activities with local partners for events such as a clothing swap or collective tote exchange.

“When you shop local, you’re investing directly in your neighbors, local families, and the entrepreneurs who make our communities unique,” said Irizarry. “The best moments often come from discovering something unexpected and connecting with the people behind it.”

Shop With 2 Girls and a Market

2 Girls and a Market was created by Emily Finz and Gabriella DiFatta, with their first event happening less than a year ago, last October 2025.

They’ve expanded from 2 to 5 venues, multiple markets a month, and even have a trinket box in partnership with Easy Luck Coffee & Bodega.

2 Girls and a Market features everything from bakers and local coffee to custom clothing, crochet, indie books, records, art prints, and jewelry, “if you’re looking for it, chances are it’s at one of our vendors’ booths,” said Finz and DiFatta.

They focus on creating spaces where small businesses can truly connect with their customers. “We believe in knowing who you’re directly buying from and knowing where your products come from,” said Finz and DiFatta.

One of their vendors, who started at 2 Girls and a Market’s first event, has since expanded her business by expanding her product line, attending larger markets, and has begun taking custom orders. She credits her time in the market for this growth.

Every market is themed in hope that visitors can connect with like-minded people. “We want you to leave with something you love,” said Finz and DiFatta.

Tips for Visiting Summer Markets This Summer

  • Arrive early for the best selection; most items are one-of-a-kind or in limited supply. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
  • Found something you love, but it's already sold out? Don't be afraid to ask the vendor if they have it available online or plan to restock soon.
  • Be prepared to pay in both cash and card. Some vendors may charge a fee to use a card, while others may only accept one or the other. It’s also good to bring some singles to tip any food vendors.
  • Stay hydrated and wear sunscreen, especially if the market is hosted outside.
  • Check market socials before attending for any last-minute deals, updates, or featured finds.
  • Collect business cards! Artists of all kinds will be in attendance; maybe you can commission a unique artwork, service, or book them for an event.
  • Post on socials, tag vendors, and follow your favorites. Vendors appreciate the support, and you may just get a repost, start a conversation, or see what market they attend next!
