There’s a certain kind of magic in the air at Epic Universe’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and it’s not just the spell effects. Between the 1920s Parisian setting and the little moments designed to enchant, this new land in the Wizarding World is spellbindingly romantic, especially if you know where to look.
Here are three places we loved for a magical date night inside Epic Universe’s most elegant realm. And that's quite the compliment, considering how much there is for adults to enjoy at Epic Universe.

1. Café L’air de la Sirène – A Siren’s Song for Lovers
This Parisian-style café is among my favorite spots in the entire park. The interior is warmly lit, draped in deep teals and shimmering golds, with gorgeous portraits of mermaid-inspired feminine figures, and their familiars. It’s a romantic escape, even if you're just stopping in for a cold drink.

But if you can, grab a seat at one of the small outdoor tables. I happened to work a little magic of my own. While we waited in line for Cirque Arcanus, I placed a mobile order in the Universal Orlando app for Café L’air de la Sirène. As soon as the show was over and we returned to the wizarding streets, I opened the app and had it at the ready, like a wand.
As we approached the cafe, I noticed that nearly all the outdoor tables were available and we swiftly snatched us a spot. With a quick scan of the table's QR code to show the staff our location, our order soon occupied our table.

We nibbled on a delicious goat cheese and tomato tart, paired with a delicious iced tea and marvelous mocktail. Before us, the romantic glow of the Parisian streets, as magical folks practiced their wand skills. It was easy to lose track of time. It’s the kind of moment that feels like it was made for two.
And to top off this romantic moment, we split the Butterbeer Crepe, absolutely divine!

2. Cirque Arcanus – A Show That Dazzles
While the storyline of Cirque Arcanus leans more mysterious than romantic, the experience itself is full of awe. The theater is stunning, with deep velvet tones, magical lighting, and visual effects that are purely transportive.
During our visit, there were only three performances for the day, so definitely check the schedule as soon as you can. It gives you that shared experience couples crave: something to talk about, laugh about, and be swept up in together.

3. Bar Moonshine – A Wandering Toast with a Parisian Twist
No indoor seating, no problem. Bar Moonshine is a charming stop for a handcrafted themed cocktail (or mocktail) to take with you as you stroll the streets. The drinks are inventive, and the atmosphere is even better.
One of the things I love most at this incredible theme park is the lineup of lounges and bars at Epic Universe. Especially because each one has non-alcoholic options that are themed to each location, and relatively affordable.
Try to time your visit with a performance from the roaming jazz band. The music adds an effortless romance to the cobblestone surroundings—it’s a street scene straight from a vintage postcard.
Bonus: Catch the Sunset
Even if you visited earlier in the day, coming back to the Ministry of Magic at sunset is worth it. On our first visit, the sky lit up in pinks and purples behind the rooftops, and for a few minutes, the whole land looked like it was under a spell.
Once the sky fades, it’s the perfect time to slip through the shadowy portal and let the spooky romance of Dark Universe carry you into the night.
