Universal’s Epic Universe lights up the town with its immersive portals, interactive displays, and out-of-this-world theming. It’s already proven to be a great spot for all ages, but there’s also plenty for adults to do. Get ready to share dessert in a French café, raise a glass to beautiful rooftop views, and get cozy with your date at the evening fountain show!

Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary or going on your first theme park date, these are the most romantic spots in Epic Universe.

Note: If you're looking for the most romantic restaurants at Epic Universe, they are sprinkled throughout this list, which is categorized by location. You can also jump over to our list of Things to Do at CityWalk Orlando at Night – no theme park ticket required!

Romantic Spots in Celestial Park

As you step inside Epic Universe, you’ll enter the first out-of-this-world land, Celestial Park. This land serves as the hub connecting all of the other portals.

Celestial Park sparkles day and night, with dreamy restaurants, a gorgeous carousel, and a spectacular fountain show. Here are a few of the most romantic places in Celestial Park:

Walking through the cosmic land, you’ll see the Constellation Carousel in a beautiful dome where you can ride through the constellations. What makes this ride so romantic? You and your sweetheart can ride together! Pick a constellation-inspired animal and ride together, thanks to the two seats. Or hop aboard one of the bench-style ride vehicles which can seat two to three adults.

Celestial Park is also home to two full-service restaurants: Atlantic and The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant, each with a restaurant and bar. Atlantic glows in bright blues and natural light overlooking the land’s lake, known as Neptune pool.

The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant transports you to a night market with street-style neon signs and dragons surrounding the inside. Reservations are recommended for these restaurants and can be made in person or online.

For a quick-service Italian lunch or dinner date, dig into a pizza or pasta dinner at Pizza Moon. With a sign that looks a lot like, “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie…,” it’s sure to be a romantic hit!

After powering up with a full meal, peruse the Nintendo Super Star Store. It’s more than a gift shop with stained glass windows of beloved Nintendo characters, constellations on the ceiling, and beautiful architecture inside and outside the store.

Then, quench your adventurous thirst with a refreshing cocktail or mocktail at Meteor Astropub or CelesTiki, or satisfy your sweet tooth with a scoop of ice cream at Frosty Moon.

For a comfy, slow ride, Yoshi’s Adventure will give you fantastic views of the entire land. Sit back and relax, or get competitive with your date as you search for the Yoshi eggs throughout your journey.

Finally, you’ll see the bright green and yellow AR Binoculars near Bowser’s Castle. Here, you can squint through the binoculars to view a mix of real and augmented reality sights with Nintendo references. See what you can find together!

Romantic Spots in Dark Universe

Jumping out of the carefree world of Super Nintendo World, you’ll want to stick close to your mate in the spooky grey town of Darkmoor Village inside Dark Universe. Characters might follow you on your adventure, making this the perfect excuse to cozy up to each other and hide out in a restaurant or two:

  • The Burning Blade Tavern
  • Das Stakehaus

You can’t miss the burning windmill atop The Burning Blade Tavern, a quick-service restaurant paying homage to Frankenstein! Stop by for a quick bite, or check out Das Stakehaus, another quick-service restaurant filled with frightful eateries for a unique date experience.

Romantic Spots in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Outside of Darkmoor Village, you’ll walk over to the gates of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, where Parisian delicacies and bustling streets await you, including:

  • Café L’air De La Sirène
  • Le Gobelet Noir
  • Le Cirque Arcanus

As one of the most romantic spots in Epic Universe, Café L’air De La Sirène’s elegance is unmatched. Boasting high ceilings, natural lighting, delicious French baked goods, and shareable desserts, it’s a great option to slow down and appreciate some quiet time together.

Plus, if you’re a Butterbeer fan who doesn’t mind sharing, order the Bièraubeurre Crêpe and ask for two forks. Topped with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and a shortbread cookie that reads “Bièraubeurre,” it’s a must-try on your date!

For a savory meal, scope out Le Gobelet Noir, a tucked-away restaurant reserved for more private conversations.

The show Le Cirque Arcanus is absolutely stunning, another great option to sit back and immerse yourself in the land’s sights and sounds with your date.

Romantic Spots in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Stepping out of Paris, you’ll hike over to the land of Vikings in the Isle of Berk and learn about training dragons with your date. These romantic spots might be less traditional than a sit-down restaurant, but just as enjoyable:

  • Mead Hall
  • Breezeway
  • Fyre Drill boat water ride

For a hearty Viking dinner, head over to Mead Hall for a BBQ lunch or dinner date. Or take a breather in the shaded breezeway while indulging in a Mac and Cheese Cone from Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel. You’ll get a peek at the water ride from the covered breezeway, Fyre Drill, which is the perfect opportunity for some friendly competition.

Work with your date to splash the other side of the boat or try to splash your date with the water cannons! Either way, you’ll cool down from this ride together. Keep an eye out for the stunning sunsets at the end of the day for a truly romantic moment.
