Ring in the holiday season at Four Seasons Orlando with these limited-time holiday dining experiences. Whether you’re planning a stay at the resort or are looking for a fun and holiday-inspired date activity, this luxury resort has options that can be reserved throughout the holiday season in Orlando

I had the opportunity to attend a preview of all three of the specialty holiday dining experiences ahead of their official start and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the service and the cuisine.

While there are plenty of places for Christmas cocktails in Orlando, this is an elevated experience, with class and flair.

Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea

Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea ($70 per adult) is a limited-time offering that will be offered at The Lobby Bar on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from December 1 through December 24. This experience can be reserved at 2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm, and 3:30pm (depending on availability).

Although you can enjoy your experience at an indoor table (if preferred), I recommend requesting a table on the restaurant’s patio as it offers beautiful sweeping views of the resort, its greenery, and various fountains.

Reservations for one of the December tea seatings can be made by calling 407-313-6161.

Making reservations early is essential as reservations are on a first-come first-serve basis and availability is limited. The setup received with the price of $70 per person is designed for two people. If you were to make a reservation for four people for a double date, you’d receive another setup identical to the one made for two.

Each person can also order a specialty alcoholic beverage (included) if they choose.

Holiday Festive Tea

After you’re seated, you’ll have a chance to preview the menus (of which there are printouts on the table) and order one of the holiday festive teas offered:

  • Jasmine Pearls
  • Silver Needles
  • Earl Gray Lavender
  • Cinnamon Plum
  • Valerian Dream
  • Chocolate Chai

I opted for the Earl Gray Lavender and thought the honey served on the side complemented its flavor.

Savory Offerings

You and your partner will be able to enjoy an assortment of finger sandwiches:

  • Egg Salad with Dijon on Brioche
  • Cucumber and Mint with Whipped Cream Cheese
  • Smoked Turkey, Fig Jam, Brie, and Apple on Multigrain
  • Hickory Chicken and Pimento Cheese Cheddar Biscuits

Although I enjoyed every sandwich, my favorite was the Hickory Chicken and Pimento Cheese Cheddar Biscuit. The caddy also included four Smoked Salmon Mousse Puff Pastries with Hackleback Caviar.

Sweet Stuff

A caddy containing several sweet pastries and scones is served alongside the sandwiches and puff pastries. Included desserts are:

  • Hazelnut Cremino
  • Pistachio Domes
  • Raspberry Macarons
  • Mango Mini Tarts
  • Currant Scones

I liked how there was a plethora of options both chocolate-based and fruit-based to cater to a plethora of palettes. I especially enjoyed the three jams and Madagascar Vanilla Whipped Cream as I had never tasted anything like it before.

Hot Chocolate & Candy Station

After you enjoy your tea, sandwiches, and pastries, there will be a hot chocolate and candy station available in the bar area.

This station will contain seasonal chocolates and other seasonal candy in addition to hot cocoa with various toppings including chocolate shavings, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and peppermint sticks.

“The Royal Sweet” Sundae

The Lobby Bar will offer “The Royal Sweet” Sundae ($28) inspired by the hotel’s nine-bedroom royal suite that you and your partner can dig into as part of the restaurant’s dinner service from November 27 to January 1.

When you order this sundae, you’ll receive nine scoops of gelato in a fish bowl-like dish. Gelato flavors include Butterscotch, Gingerbread Gelato, Green Mint Gelato, Hot Cocoa with Marshmallow, and Apple Pie. I’m not typically a fan of multiple flavors combined, but all of these worked well together and I enjoyed this sundae way more than I initially thought.

The festive cookies that top it are an aesthetically pleasing bonus and can contribute to creating cute holiday photos.

Festive Treats at Lickety Split

If you’re looking for some festive treats to take back home or back to your room after your tea or ice cream session, you can head to the resort’s coffee shop Lickety Split (from December 16-26) for some themed sweets.

  • Holiday Chocolate Dipped Strawberries ($3)
  • Christmas Macaron  ($3)
  • Peppermint Chocolate Pretzel
  • Mint Marshmallow Kiss
  • Hazelnut Christmas Cookies ($5) ·
  • Burnt Peanut Meringue
  • Chocolate Dragées ($9)
  • Christmas Yule Log   ($8)
  • Chocolate Ornament   ($8)
  • Chestnut Mont-Blanc  ($8)
  • Santa Hat Mousse   ($8)

My favorite of the treats I tried was the Chocolate Ornament as it was both fluffy and rich.

FAQs

Where is Four Seasons Orlando?

Four Seasons Orlando is located on Walt Disney World property within the gates of the exclusive Golden Oak community. Although the resort is closest to Epcot and Magic Kingdom, it is less than a 15-minute drive from all four of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

How does parking work?

Parking is valet-only. What most people don’t realize is that the resort is open to the public whether or not they have a dining reservation.

If you and your partner are simply looking to visit to grab some of the specialty holiday treats at Lickety Split, you can do that, but make sure to note that parking is not fully validated for those kinds of experiences.

However, if you book the Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea or make a dinner reservation at The Lobby Bar, parking is fully validated upon departure by a team member at the hostess stand.

Are these experiences only available for hotel guests?

Although hotel guests are more than welcome to reserve these special dining experiences, they are open to the public. Since these experiences are open to the public (non-hotel guests with reservations or visitors), they provide a unique opportunity to those wanting to take a sneak peek at Disney’s exclusive Golden Oak community.

Can these dining experiences be purchased together?

No, these dining experiences are unable to be purchased together. However, they can be reserved and purchased separately and on the same day (if availability allows).

Do the offerings cater to children?

If you’re unable to find a babysitter for your kids or want them to tag along for this special date experience, there is a Children’s Tea Party ($30 per child) available for children ages 2-12. This kid friendly experience includes sandwiches like Wisconsin Cheddar and Smoked Turkey on Brioche Green Cheese and Ham Cheddar on Biscuit. Rice Krispy Treats, cupcakes, and chocolate mousse are also included.
