NEW CityArts Café Brings Artful Coffee and Community to Downtown Orlando

Downtown Orlando just got a fresh new spot to sip, savor, and support the arts. The Downtown Arts District will officially open CityArts Café on Wednesday, November 12. This cozy new destination serves up Lavazza espresso drinks, pastries from Olde Hearth Bakery, and a whole lot of creative energy. It's one of the great new places in Orlando.

Located next to CityArts Orlando inside the historic Rogers Kiene Building, CityArts Café is more than just a coffee place; it’s a hub for conversation, inspiration, and connection.

Every visit supports the local arts community, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Orlando artists and creative programs through the Downtown Arts District.

The café’s walls showcase rotating art exhibits from the District’s signature 3rd Thursday Gallery Hop (one of our favorite free date night ideas), blending the experience of a gallery and café into one inviting space. The menu pairs perfectly with the artistic vibe, offering Italian-style Lavazza espresso drinks, classic French and British pastries, and a variety of teas and tisanes, all crafted to encourage guests to slow down and enjoy the creative surroundings.

“CityArts Café isn’t just about coffee—it’s about creating a space to enjoy and support the local arts community,” says Downtown Arts District Executive Director Barbara Hartley. “We have no doubt visitors to our galleries and events will absolutely love it.”
