While chef’s tables have been around for awhile, it’s not something that pops up in daily conversation (for most of us anyway). However, it’s the perfect option for creating a special moment with a loved one. You’ll have a one-on-one conversation with the chef about the unique dishes created specifically for you and receive extra special attention from the staff. Make your next night out legendary with the royal treatment at one of these Orlando chef’s tables.

The Osprey Tavern – Baldwin Park

This eclectic and contemporary restaurant in Baldwin Park serves traditional American edibles with a modern twist while using superior ingredients. You can expect attention to detail from the wait staff while dining at the chef’s table at The Osprey Tavern. The restaurant has been known to customize menus for special celebrations, ensuring diners feel pampered and significant. The chef’s table seats twelve guests and sits to one side of the dining room giving the illusion of intimacy. During certain times of the year, the chef’s table is also used for seasonal Chef’s Tasting Menu events.

Luma on Park – Winter Park

When reserving the chef’s table at Luma on Park, be sure you arrive hungry and with an open mind. The experience features nine courses made exclusively for the guests dining at that moment. As our founder and editor, Kristen Manieri, writes from her experience at the chef’s table, “Flavor pairings were adventurous; ingredient selections were innovative; and the presentations were downright artful. It was an epicurean escapade rivaled only by the next time we’re back at Chef Brandon’s prized table.”

Guests that book this six-person table Monday through Saturday can choose to be seated at 5:30 or 8:30pm. On Sundays, only one seating is available to be booked any time before 7pm.

Chef’s Table at the Edgewater – Winter Garden

This restaurant was designed for every guest in the house to have a chef’s table experience. With a culinary background from Disney’s Victoria & Albert’s, hosts Kevin and Laurie Tarter will make sure your evening is a romantic rendezvous. With a seat at the exclusive chef’s table, diners will partake in a three-course prix fixe menu with optional wine pairings. Not only will the chef personally stop by your table, you will be able to peek into the kitchen from your seat.

Tapa Toro – Orlando (I-Drive 360)

Classic Spanish Frittata, Veggie Empanada, and Charred Ribeye are a smidgen of examples you could enjoy seated at Tapa Toro’s Paella Pit. This showcase seating area allows for up to twelve guests to mingle with Chef Wendy Lopez as food is sizzling. Pricing for the Chef’s Tasting varies upon food selections, wine pairings, and time of day.

If you prefer a more hands-on date night, gather a group of friends as you all sit around the Paella Pit for an intimate cooking class. A minimum of six guests is required. The experience lasts up to three hours as you saute, sear, simmer and steam your way through three courses with an additional appetizer and dessert. Private cooking classes are $65/person.

Copper Canyon Grill – Pointe Orlando

This upscale establishment serves American comfort food featuring quality, locally sourced ingredients. The chef’s table is completely private and seats up to twenty diners. Guests can choose to order from a preset menu or roll the dice on a chef’s surprise. Wine pairings can be added for extra indulgence.

Emeril’s – Universal CityWalk

Book the chef’s tasting room for a chance to hear your tastebuds yell, “BAM!” With the flavorful fancies of New Orleans, the chefs at Emeril’s will take your senses on a memorable journey. The table sits proudly in the kitchen and seats up to four guests. Once food allergies and aversions are discussed by the chef, several mouthwatering courses are brought to the table at the chef’s whim. Due to high volume during the weekends, the chef’s table may only be booked on a weeknight.

Eddie H. noted on TripAdvisor, “[We] were blown away by the great service, food, and setting. Even though this was a ‘chef’s table,’ I found the price to be very reasonable for what we received!”

Highball & Harvest – Orlando (Grande Lakes)

Guests are sure to experience a true farm-to-table spread at Highball & Harvest, located at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando. Dishes are prepared using fresh ingredients harvested from the on-site Whisper Creek Farm, as well as local fields. The passionate chefs delight in producing a five-course dinner for up to eight diners at the chef’s table. Once guests have given dietary restrictions and flavor preferences, the chefs and bartenders will create a tailored menu for a one-of-a-kind palate adventure.

Victoria and Albert’s – Lake Buena Vista

Disney has mastered the art of making guests feel like royalty and Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the belle of the ball. You can enjoy an intimate dinner in the kitchen and spend time with the head chef when you reserve the Chef’s Table. Accommodations for up to ten diners can be made for this ten-course meal created just for you. There is only one party seated per evening and complimentary valet parking is available.

Disneyfoodblog notes, “And in case you are on the fence about booking such an extravagant meal, let me frame it appropriately: this is not just food, it’s an experience. You aren’t just having dinner, you are having a moment in your life that will be unforgettable.”

Citrico’s – Lake Buena Vista

Withdraw with your love to an old-world Mediterranean dining experience at Citrico’s, located inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Chef’s Domain can seat up to twelve guests every night of the week at 5:30 and 8:30pm. This table is exclusive and gives diners a front-row seat to the kitchen show, where your chef cooks up dishes to take you on a tour of the Mediterranean seaside. You’ll be able to interact and carry on with the chef and culinary team as your meal is being prepared.

1921 by Norman Van Aken – Mount Dora

With a setting for six to ten guests, 1921’s chef’s table invites you to take a seat for a multi-course tour of innovative Florida cuisine. All dishes are based on availability for the season, allowing diners to experience something unique with each visit. The walls of the restaurant are adorned with rotating selections of art for your eyes to feast on while you fill your belly. If you prefer to dine with vino, the Sommelier will carefully hand select perfectly paired wines for guests to relish. Before being seated for a scrumptious meal, guests are invited to tour the Modernism Museum as an appetizer for the senses.

Kadence – Orlando

Arrive with an open mind and prepare to treat your palate to a multi-course adventure at Kadence. The 9-seat sushi and sake bar, opened by the same team who operated Kappo inside of East End Market, treats guests to a variety of lunch and dinner experiences throughout the week, including a 7-course Kappo-style tasting menu every Sunday. This feast is best suited for the adventurous and curious as you never know what’s going to wind up on your plate. For the ultimate culinary encounter, reserve a seat during dinner for an 18+ course sushi and sashimi tasting. The menu is seasonally focused and utilizes fresh ingredients and thus changes often. Pricing varies from $61-$155 per person, depending on when you dine.

Dragonfly Robata Grill & Sushi – Orlando

The team at Dragonfly Robata Grill & Sushi shoots to bring a true omakase or “trust the chef” experience for every patron who ventures on this culinary expedition. Sara B. mentioned on Zomato, “All of the plates focused on traditional and unique Japanese flavors. They explained each plate that was brought out and how it was prepared. It was an extremely exceptional experience with great atmosphere, fun people and amazing food!”

Kabooki Sushi – Orlando

With a passion for creativity and artful dishes that are packed with flavor, Chef Henry Moso delights in presenting each guest with a fresh affair they will remember. Kabooki Sushi is currently offering an omakase chef tasting prix fixe menu located at the sushi bar. These seats allow patrons to ogle at the chef’s showcase and culinary theatrics. A minimum of three days advance notice is required to ensure the best seasonal ingredients are utilized. The meal lasts 2-3 hours and the last seating is at 7pm.
