It's just barely October, and the spirit of Halloween is alive and well in many Orlando neighborhoods. Just like the impressive Christmas lights in our area, many neighborhoods are pulling out all the stops to create even more impressive Halloween displays this year.

Delightful homes decorated with spooky skeletons and eerie lighting can be found in numerous neighborhoods. Join us as we make the most of spooky season and explore some of the most enchanting neighborhoods with Halloween decorations in Orlando.

Orlando Neighborhoods with Awesome Halloween Decorations

First, we'll start with a few homes in Orlando decked out with fantastic fall and spooky decorations. Then we'll cover Orlando's best neighborhoods to stroll around or drive around to see some great decorations.

What Happened to Orlando's “Monster House”?
On S. Ferncreek Ave.

We'll start off with perhaps the most iconic home on our list. This Monster House on Fern Creek Ave used to be fully decked out for Halloween. Sadly, the previous occupants relocated to Winter Garden.

Nearby however, is a cozy display at 3733 S. Fern Creek Ave, Orlando 32806. This spooky display is full of skeletons and other scary elements.

The original Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream location on Fern Creek Avenue, in case you want to make it a sweet Halloween date.

1901 Mosher Drive in Orlando

Just a few turns off Lee Road is an awesome Halloween-decorated home on Mosher Drive. These folks have been at it for years.

In fact, the yard is adorned with multiple wood-carved Halloween decorations and maintained lovingly over the years.

Please be mindful of the neighborhood and drive with caution. This home display is well-lit at night for the ultimate spooky vibes.

The decorations are not too gruesome and are suitable for most school-aged kids.

2119 E. Jefferson St, Orlando

This home near downtown Orlando is loaded with spooky decorations. The amount of decorations in the front yard looks great day or night, but of course at night it's even better. Lighting effects everywhere and a photo opportunity pathway make this a must-visit. Just be mindful of the neighbors and parking options.

404 Oakhurst St, Altamonte Springs

Pirates have invaded Altamonte Springs! A life-size pirate ship with special lighting and effects can be seen on Oakhurst in Altamonte Springs. You have GOT to see this display at night. There is nothing gory, but the pirate crew is a skeleton crew. Still, it is great fun for everyone, including kids.

2502 Dakota Trail in Fern Park

If you like a sense of humor with your spooks then hitch a broom and head to Fern Park. Along Dakota Trail is a precious home with a detailed graveyard and skeleton decorations. Best of all? The skeletons are changed and positioned into a variety of humorous scenes throughout the season.

On your way to the Dakota Trail home “Skully and Bones” you can also see these decorated homes:

This neighborhood is also about ten minutes from Permanent Vacation and Eden Bar, two of our favorite places for spooky drinks.

1362 Cavender Creek Rd, Minneola

If you love lights and music, then you'll love this interactive display in Minneola! This home features a festive show for Halloween and Christmas, with lights synchronized to music, illuminating screens, props, and even surrounding trees. You can also scan a QR code on the property, pick a song to play, and watch as the lights flash and dance to the song.

The light show takes place on weekdays from 7-9:30pm, and weekends from 7-10pm. Follow The Lights on Cavender Creek on Facebook for the latest information on the light displays.

7604 Country Run Parkway, Ocoee

Halloween inflatables gone wild! With a front yard covered in spooky season inflatables and a few animatronics, oh, and orange lights adorning the rooftop, this home in Ocoee is a Halloween fan's dream! Most of the decorations are kid-friendly, but a few scary ones are sprinkled in.

However, there are so many things to see that you can easily keep kids with you occupied with the adorable purples, Disney decorations, and the lights.

Santa's House by the Bigda's – 4314 Shadow Wood Trail, Winter Haven, FL

Obviously, this house is a favorite for Christmas lights, but they also go all out for Halloween! It is a bit of a drive from Orlando but if you're into a Halloween adventure, it's worth it!

Millbrook Manor – 7535 Millbrook Ave, Viera, FL

Millbrook Manor in Viera, FL describes itself as “Sorta Merry, Sorta Scary.” They put on quite the display for both Halloween and Christmas. Nightly from 6 – 10pm. Bonus: It is pet friendly!
