The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic returns November 14–15, celebrating its 16th year with bold new flavors, expanded hours, and a meaningful partnership that adds even more heart to this already iconic event. I've attended the Food & Wine Classic multiple times over the years, and it is certainly a highlight for fall food events in Orlando.
We attended the media preview, and it’s safe to say this year is somehow even more delicious than ever. From the inspired dishes to the emotional connections behind the scenes, 2025 is shaping up to be a year to remember for both food lovers and the community that supports them.
2025 SWAN AND DOLPHIN FOOD & WINE CLASSIC
This year’s event draws inspiration from the influence of global dining. Greg Sherman, the resort’s Food & Beverage Director, shared details of this year's Food and Wine Classic, along with Chef Todd English, who shared how his travels have shown him how deeply Japanese style and philosophy continue to shape culinary trends worldwide. The result? A menu that blends world cuisine with local favorites — refined, balanced, and beautifully modern.

Iconic Event, Elevated Once Again
For 16 years, the Swan Dolphin Food & Wine Classic has been a signature event at this equally iconic resort. As Greg, the Food and Beverage Director explained, “Success is never final — we continue to evolve this event every year.”
After hearing guest feedback, the Swan and Dolphin team refined the experience once more. The tasting time now stretches to a full four hours, beginning a bit earlier and wrapping at 9 p.m., allowing guests to move from the Causeway into after-parties across 23 restaurants and lounges, each with live music.
The popular Bubbles Lounge returns bigger and better than ever, and the Causeway itself will be lined with 49 unique food options across both nights — an impressive evolution that keeps the Classic fresh, festive, and unforgettable.
A Partnership with Purpose
Beyond the food and festivities, one of the most meaningful elements of this year’s event is its continued partnership with Wounded Warrior Project. Now in its second year, this collaboration helps support veterans and service members through the organization’s impactful programs.
I had the chance to speak with two representatives from Wounded Warrior Project, who expressed deep gratitude for the ongoing partnership and the resort’s commitment to giving back. Their words took on even more meaning during a touching moment at the preview, when the resort’s General Manager — a veteran himself — greeted the WWP team with genuine emotion and pride.
It was a reminder that the Food & Wine Classic isn’t just about indulgence; it’s about connection, community, and care.
49 Dishes, Two Nights
Across both evenings, guests can sample 49 dishes created by Executive Chef Devin Queen and an all-star culinary team, plus special menus from James Beard Award-winning chefs Michael Mina and Todd English.
Among this year’s standout tastes:
- The Chocolate Chambord dessert, a rich and velvety masterpiece that perfectly balances indulgence and artistry.
- The beef short rib from Bourbon Steak, so tender and flavorful it stopped us in our tracks — even on a second tasting.
- The Florida booth’s oyster slider, a playful, coastal nod to the Sunshine State that any Floridian will appreciate.
Each bite reflects the passion and precision that have made this event a beloved tradition for over a decade.
