Lighthouse Central Florida's third "Dining in the Dark" event will provide guests with a rare opportunity to experience a world of smell, taste, sound, and texture in total darkness.
The evening's three-course meal will be served by Orlando Police Department's SWAT team as they volunteer their time using night-vision goggles in a completely dark dining room.
All proceeds will benefit Lighthouse Central Florida, which provides services, including education, independent living skills and job training and placement, for people who are completely blind and those with varying degrees of low vision.
Tickets are $100 per individual or $150 per couple.
6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Wine & Hors d'oeuvres
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – Dinner
