Celebrate 15 Years of Come Out With Pride October 12

Orlando Come Out With Pride 2017

Celebrating 15 years, Come Out With Pride returns October 12 to Lake Eola Park. The all-day festival is held annually in October to coincide with National Gay and Lesbian History Month, as well as National Coming Out Day (October 11).

Every year, Orlando comes together to not only spread #OrlandoLove to the LGBTQ+ members of our community, but also to remember our neighbors. To pay tribute to our family and friends who tragically lost their lives 3 years ago at Pulse.

This year’s theme will be honoring Heroes, both those who’ve fought for equality as well as everyday heroes in our community. The highlight of the day is the Most Colorful Parade sponsored by SunTrust. The parade will feature over 150 groups who’ll make their way aroud a one-mile route through downtown Orlando.

Additionally, stop by the Pride Marketplace presented by Wyndham Destinations and the Sponsorwalk area to find over 200 businesses, vendors, and organizations committed to diversity in the Central Florida area. Lastly, stick around for live performances! The Pride Stage will showcase Pabllo Vittar, and the Amphitheater Stage will showcase Jennifer Holliday.

Secondly, the Sweet Dreams are Made of VIP package gets you all the above plus reserved parking for the festival (must arrive by 11:00) and a VIP poster for $135.

Your local LGBTQ+ band, Central Florida Sounds of Freedom, is co-hosting an annual band conference the weekend of Pride, and will be bringing a marching band of about 300 performers to the parade! We also will be performing a concert – Looking Back, Marching Forward – on Sunday afternoon at 4pm at The Plaza Live which is an official COWP event. Details are on the COWP Facebook page.
