Orlando Museum of Art Florida Prize Preview Party 2019

SPONSORED – An annual highlight of Orlando’s art scene, the Orlando Museum of Art Florida Prize in Contemporary Art is an exciting exhibition featuring the work of 10 significant Florida artists. Art lovers won’t want to miss the celebratory Exhibition Preview Party on May 31, 2019, complete with local eats, adult beverages, live music and more.

Throughout the evening, Orlando’s best restaurants and caterers will serve up artful dishes inspired by the 10 featured artists. Local culinary partners include Orlando Meats, Soco Thornton Park, and Dubsdread Catering, among others.

Pair your eats with beer, wine and specialty cocktails provided by ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Coopers Hawk Winery, Tito’s Vodka, and more. Other event perks include live entertainment, the chance to meet and mingle with the artists, and exploring the exhibition.

General admission tickets are $35/person, and VIP tickets are $55/person.

Featured Artists + Exhibition

This year’s featured artists are Robert Aiosa, Joe Fig, Lilian Garcia-Roig, Lola Gómez, Amer Kobaslija, Pepe Mar, Anja Marais, Edison Peñafiel, Vickie Pierre, and Sri Prabha. 

The winning artist of the $20,000 Florida Prize award will be announced during the opening party. You’ll also be invited to cast your vote for your favorite artist for the People’s Choice Award, sponsored by Corkcicle..

The exhibition will be on display at the Orlando Museum of Art from May 31 – August 18, 2019.
