I’m sure there are a lot of people who would rather I not tell you all about Yellow Dog Eats. Located in Gotha, FL (basically Windermere), this quirky little eatery is a best-kept secret with a cult like following. I still haven’t put my finger on exactly what won me over during a recent visit—the sweet little outdoor patio, the delicious food or the laid back vibe—but I can totally see why people love this casual and clandestine neighborhood haunt. You can dine inside this converted VW bus.
There is a huge selection of wines available by the glass or the bottle for $20 or $30 each. There are lots of craft beer options too.
Or you can snag a bottle from the $10 bin.
This converted two-story home gives you the option to dine downstairs or upstairs. Both dining rooms are quite… colorful.
Other than the outdoor garden patio, this is THE table for date night.
In regards to food, there are lots of sandwhiches, BBQ entrees, and light bites, as well as many options for vegetarians. Order at the counter.
Make sure you leave room for dessert. There are several yummy options, including the famed Snickers Cheesecake and the Campfire Brownie.
