Light up UCF, the annual holiday bonanza hosted at UCF Arena, kicks off Friday, November 16th and runs until Sunday, January 6th.
That's 50 nights of happenings, many of which are free, wonderful free.
Outdoor Holiday Film Festival
More than a dozen holiday films, such as National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, and Elf, will show on UCF Arena’s outdoor screen on select dates at 7pm and 9:30pm. Films are free. Be sure to bring a blanket to sit on.
Fork over $12 (plus $10 for skate rentals) if you want to hit UCF’s holiday skating rink where a DJ will be spinning holiday songs and Top 40 hits seven nights a week. Oh, and don’t forget to pack a pair of socks.
The Holiday Light Show is made up of over 150,000 individual lights that pulse and strobe across the arena façade, palm trees, and ice rink pavilion in perfect synchronization and choreographed to various holiday songs.The show is free and takes place several times during each night starting at 6:30pm.
PARKING: Parking is available in Event Garage F. During UCF Arena events, parking is also available in Garage D and in lots D1 and D2. Parking is FREE for Light Up UCF patrons – please be sure to tell the parking attendant that you are on site for Light Up UCF.
