Nope… it’s actually laughter.
A survey conducted by Match.com found that 70 percent of single women are most likely to fall in love with someone who has the ability to make them laugh. Laughter helps boost a woman’s endorphin levels, endorphins make women feel good, and women who feel good are more likely to want to have sex… at least in theory.
Luckily, you don’t necessarily have to be the one inducing the laughter; much of the same effects can be gleaned from laughing at a funny movie, hearing a good joke, or seeing a good comedy sketch. Here are three Orlando comedy clubs that just might produce some endorphin-producing laughter:
Orlando Improv
Orlando Improv hosts nationally known comedy acts in their comedy club/restaurant venue at Pointe Orlando, off I-Drive. Comics typically take to the stage Thursday through Sunday, and tickets generally start at $17.
SAK Comedy Lab
Each night, the improvisational actors at SAK Comedy Lab unfurl a wacky series of improvisational sketches reminiscent of the show Who’s Line is it Anyway. These completely off-the-cuff shows are performed Tuesday through Saturday each week in their 200-seat theater inside downtown’s CityArts Factory. Tickets are around $12 (FL Resident rate) most nights.
Bonkerz Comedy
There are several Bonkerz Comedy locations throughout Central Florida, including a downtown location and Altamonte Springs location. Expect lots of Comedy Central regulars. Tickets start around $10.
