We’re turning the typical wine pairing dinner on its head with our new Discovery Dinner Series, an immersive, hands-on food adventure designed to take you on an unforgettable culinary journey.
We’re ready to host our third event, this time at Big Fin Seafood Kitchen with Executive Chef James Slattery on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Known for its award-winning seafood and service, this Dr. Phillips gem is going to be the perfect place to delight our tastebuds for a few hours. By the way, Big Fin was voted Best Moderately-Priced Restaurant in our 2018 Date Night Awards.
“We’ve been doing the Tables in Wonderland events for years and this was by far the best dinner we’ve ever been to,” Bob W. told us. “What brilliant and imaginative minds behind the food and drink. It was all spectacular,” wrote Brenda G. after our first event.
There will be five courses served with guest’s choice of wine or cocktails served throughout the evening. As with every Discovery Dinner, the menu remains a mystery until the food arrives at the table. We don’t want to spoil any surprises. That said, dietary restrictions and allergies can be accommodated.
CHEF JAMES SLATTERY
Executive Chef James Slattery has resided over Big Fin’s kitchen since it’s opening in the fall of 2009. Chef Slattery’s career in the culinary world began in the late 1990’s at Emeril’s restaurant at Universal’s CityWalk and included stops at some of Orlando’s top restaurants including Circa on Park Avenue in Winter Park, Tchoup Chop at the Loews Royal Pacific Hotel and A Land Remembered, the steak house at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.
