A Day Away Kayak Tours offers one of the most exciting and memorable DATE NIGHTS you'll probably ever experience. In your two-person kayak, you'll paddle up a canal and dock at the edge of an inlet. From this site you are just 7 miles from the Kennedy Space Center launch pad where you'll have a completely unobstructed view of the launch.
The trip is very easy, even for beginner kayakers. Keep on the look-out for manatees… you might be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of one or two along the way. TIP: We took Hwy 50 to the Wildlife Refuge since 528 was completely jammed. On launch nights, this seems to be the better option.
