The Orlando Couples Cook-Off, a fast-paced, hands-on cooking competition, brought together some pretty awesome home cooks throughout our preliminary rounds on October 13 and 21. After two heated rounds of competition at Aggressive Appliances (with food provided by Whole Foods Market, Orlando Meats and Wild Ocean Seafood), four finalists have now advanced to the Cook-Off Finals on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 7pm.
And you're invited to take a front-row seat!
Up until this point, spectators have not been permitted but that all changes for the final round, when ticketed guests will get the chance to watch these competitive gourmands create their cutthroat dish in the hopes of winning some amazing grand prizes, including a two-night gourmet getaway to The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes including breakfast and dinner for two at Highball & Harvest and two Day Spa passes to the Ritz-Carlton Spa.
In addition, we'll also be giving away:
- GE Wine Center Refrigerator (30-bottle capacity)
- Wolf Gourmet Countertop Blender
- Miele Canister Vacuum
- KitchenAid Stand Mixer
In addition to the opportunity to watch the contestants cook up a storm, event attendees will enjoy lots of gourmet tastings and sips at food and drink stations dotted throughout Aggressive Appliances’ sprawling showroom.
Participating local vendors include: Whole Foods Market, Wild Ocean Seafood Market, Orlando Meats, Gezellig Cookies, Axum Coffee, Tapa Toro, Taverna Opa, Quantum Leap Winery and beer from Whisper Creek Farm: The Kitchen. In addition, The Second Harvest Culinary Training Program will be previewing their holiday catering menu.
