Plans to officially open the new Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts this fall are full steam ahead, and while a bevy of productions and performances are already slated to hit the stage, Broadway lovers are eagerly anticipating the 2014/15 Broadway season, which will kick-off in December with The Phantom of the Opera.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s extraordinary musical will have a 12-day run in Orlando from December 3 to 14 when the much-loved 2-hour and 40-minute production will be performed by a cast and orchestra of 52. Besides exciting special effects including the show’s legendary chandelier, the production will feature new scenic and lighting designs, new staging and choreography.
